Dennis Griffith is, first and foremost, a husband, father, and grandfather. Dennis also has the privilege of serving as a pastor in the Presbyterian Church in America. In January 2024, Dennis will begin a new chapter of ministry with Pinewood Church in Jacksonville, Florida; after having served as Lead Pastor at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church in Williamsburg, Virginia since Fall 2012. In addition to his pastoral ministry, Dennis serves on the board of 3e Restoration, a ministry designed to equip local churches to befriend and walk with neighbors in need from homelessness & marginalization to self-sufficiency.  Dennis also served as Associate Staff/Project Staff for MTW on the Cherokee Indian Reservation for 10+ years; and has served as the local chairman for Young Life in communities where he has lived.

In his spare time Dennis enjoys exploring historic sites, reading a variety of books, golf, hiking, and visiting with his two toddler granddaughters in Tennessee.

Dennis’ wife, Carolyn served as Head of School at Covenant Christian School in Williamsburg , before recently stepping down to prepare for their move to Jacksonville.
